Glenn Beck Interviews Seventh Day Adventist NA Division Secretary about Ben Carson

The North American Division Secretary G. Alexander Bryant was interviewed by Glenn Beck who wanted to find out more about Ben Carson’s faith and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

The interview which discussed the religious faith of Ben Carson aired on The Glenn Beck Program -Beck Blitz on October 22, 2015.  The title of the interview: The meaning of Seventh-day Adventist w/ Alex Bryant 10 22 15 on the blaze tv.  Alex Bryant shared the Seventh Day Adventist faith in Jesus death and resurrection as well as other points of belief.  It will continue to be interesting to see how the media covers Adventists in the wake of Ben Carson’s increased popularity as he runs for President of the United States.  Donald Trump

Ben Carson’s Faith – What is a Seventh Day Adventist?

• Jesus died and rose again for our salvation.
• Salvation is a gift of God.
• The Bible is the Word of God.
• In the beginning God created the heavens and earth (Gen 1:1)…God created this earth in 6 days and then…”By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. ³ Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.rested on the 7th and blessed the Sabbath. (Gen 2:1)
• The 10 commandments are a gift from God and a reflection / foundation of His character.  These are summed up as Jesus said by the command…Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37)
• Life or Soul = Body + Breathe of Life…death is the absence of God’s breathe of life and what remains is just the dead body (see 36 bible verses about death and sleep). The dead know nothing and sleep until the return of Christ.
• Jesus Christ is coming soon and we are called to…”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:19).”
